Gaze upon the massive industrial heritage said to be the largest in East Asia

About this spot

Ruins of a large-scale ore processing facility that was built to sort ore mined from the Sado Gold Mine. The concrete structures, having finished their purpose, are now covered in green, presenting a powerful landscape like a movie set. Located on a hilltop overlooking the town of Aikawa, this spot allows you to feel the history of a town that walked alongside the mines. The site is sometimes illuminated at night, showing a different appearance in day and night.
