A museum preserving the history of Kashiwabara Post Town, which flourished as a Nakasendo post town. Kashiwabara became nationwide in the Edo period for its Ibuki moxa (伊吹もぐさ) trade, and the historic post town streetscape remains today. Through the exhibits, you'll learn about moxa commerce and life in the post town, providing insight into the background of the Yaito Festival about to begin.

About 10 minutes by car from Samegai Post Town. Since the Yaito Festival starts at 1:30 PM, plan a brief visit before heading to the festival.
