About this spot

A wooden playhouse built in the early Showa era that still operates today. The interior retains traditional mechanisms such as a revolving stage and trap doors, making it a valuable space to feel the history of Iizuka's entertainment culture. During non-performance hours, tours of the building are sometimes possible, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of traditional theater architecture.

Accessible by car from the Former Ito Denzaemon Residence. Tour availability and fees vary depending on the day's circumstances, so advance confirmation is recommended.

About 1 hour. Tours are best scheduled during intermissions between performances.
