A clear stream flowing through the mountains of Minamiaizu, its charm lies in the crystal-clear water and refreshing sound of flowing water. Along the riverbed you can play in the water or stroll the riverbank, savoring the highland nature at your own pace. It's the perfect time for the family to rest in nature before tonight's fireworks.

Tips

Accessible by car from the Takatsue Highlands (高杖高原). Some spots along the riverbank can be slippery underfoot, so wear easy-to-move-in shoes if playing in the water. Water levels change depending on the weather, so please don't push yourself too far.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. Late afternoon brings softer sunlight, making the riverbank more comfortable to spend time in.
