Next stop: Cool Off by the Babbling Waters of a Clear StreamAbout this spot
A ski resort spread across the Aizu Highlands at an elevation of about 1,000 meters, with the top of the slopes reaching 1,650 meters. During the green season, programs such as zip-lining, hiking, and nature experiences are available, and the grass grounds and rest house can also be used. Thanks to the high elevation, the air stays cool even in midsummer. It's also close to tonight's fireworks venue, making it a perfect spot to lead into the end of the day.
Tips
Accessible by car from the Maezawa Magariya Village (前沢曲家集落). Many activities require a fee, so it's reassuring to check the details in advance. Due to the high elevation, having a light jacket for mornings and evenings will keep you comfortable.
Best time to visit
About 2 hours. Get plenty of exercise during the cool afternoon hours.
