Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this is the fireworks display of the Aizu Kogen Tateiwa Summer Festival, staged at Takatsue-hara (高杖原), surrounded by mountains. For about an hour, from 7 PM to 8 PM, fireworks launch one after another into the quiet highland night sky. With no tall buildings nearby, the sound of the fireworks echoes through the mountains, giving them an impact quite different from city fireworks. Looking up at the fireworks under a clear night sky is sure to become one of this summer's best memories.
