The beach that serves as the venue for the fireworks festival in Kakami-Kamicho. At the rocky tidal pools, you can enjoy observing shells and small creatures, and vendors offer food stalls serving Kakami-Kamicho's famous "ichigo-ni" (sea urchin and abalone soup) and other ocean delicacies. Spread out your picnic mat to secure your spot, and while watching the sunset sink into the sea, wait for the show to begin. It is a time worthy of the grand finale after a full day enjoying the Sanriku Sea.

2026年7月25日(土)、階上町の小舟渡海岸を会場に行われるマリンフェスタの花火大会です。地元の名物「いちご煮」を冠したこの祭りの締めくくりとして、太平洋の海上に花火が次々と打ち上がり、19時30分から20時30分まで夜空を彩ります。波の音とともに見上げる花火は、三陸の海ならではの開放感に満ちています。蕪島や種差海岸など三陸の海を一日かけて楽しんだあとに見る花火は、夏の思い出の締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場へ向かう人で混み合うため、少し時間をずらしての移動がおすすめです。砂浜は足元が暗いのでスマホのライトで安全に。
