A coastline spreading right below Atakawa Hot Spring Town where a promenade is developed, allowing you to enjoy exploration while gazing at Suruga Bay. On clear days, you can even glimpse the distant Izu Islands, and the open ocean scenery soothes the heart. Viewing the sea where fireworks will rise tonight during the day makes the evening observation all the more anticipated. Benches are also placed along the levee, making it ideal for taking a break while feeling the sea breeze.

2026年7月25日(土)20時45分から開催される、熱川温泉の夏を彩る海上花火大会です。海に面した堤防から、約800発の花火が15分間にわたって夜空と海上を彩ります。温泉街の灯りと湯けむり、そして海面に映る花火の光が織りなす景色は、熱川温泉ならではの情緒あふれる眺めです。短くも凝縮された花火のフィナーレは、1日の締めくくりにふさわしい特別なひとときになります。

荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は東伊豆町の観光情報で確認しましょう。終了後は駅と周辺道路が混み合うため、余韻を楽しんでから時間差で帰路につくのがおすすめです。足元が暗いので明かりの準備を。

About 10 minutes walk from Atakawa Hot Spring Town. Exploration is free. Some sections of the levee and rocky areas can be slippery underfoot, so walking shoes are recommended.
