About this spot

A local products facility about a 5-minute walk from JR Zentsuji Station (JR善通寺駅), run by a town-development company based in Zentsuji City. It also functions as a tourist information center, offering processed goods made from the Sanuki mochi barley variety Daishimochi (ダイシモチ), along with local specialties, freshly picked vegetables, and souvenirs. Rental bicycles are also available, and the rooftop garden offers a view over the city. It is a perfect place to rest between walks, and a good spot to pick out souvenirs before the fireworks festival or to plan your evening meal.

Tips

About a 10-minute walk from the former Zentsuji Kaikosha (旧善通寺偕行社). Opening hours vary by shop, so it is a good idea to check in advance. The summer sun is strong, so take breaks often.
