Along the main approach from the shrine entrance, shops selling local specialties such as narezushi (fermented sushi) and dumplings, and Inari-related souvenirs line the street. On the festival day, the main approach becomes lively like an evening market from the evening, and it's perfect for families to enjoy street food while having dinner. Walking along the stone-paved approach naturally leads to the Higashiyama Gaien parking lot, the fireworks venue. The lantern lights at dusk are also atmospheric, and you can savor an atmosphere befitting the end of your day.

2026年8月1日(土)21時から、祐徳稲荷神社にほど近い東山外苑駐車場一帯で開催される夏まつりの花火打ち上げです。神社の門前町を見守るように夜空に花火が上がり、山あいに音が反響する迫力ある光景を楽しめます。1日かけて参拝と町並み散策を楽しんだあとの花火は、地域の夏の風物詩としてひとしお感慨深いものになるはずです。家族でレジャーシートを広げ、夜風に吹かれながらフィナーレまでゆったり見上げましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は鹿島市や大会の公式発表で確認しましょう。駐車場のスペースには限りがあるため、早めの場所取りがおすすめです。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うので、少し余韻を楽しんでから帰路につくとスムーズです。

Tips

After visiting Yutoku Inari Shrine, you can visit on foot. On the fireworks festival day, it gets crowded from late afternoon, so it's best to finish dinner early. The restrooms in the venue area tend to get congested, so it's best to use them while there's still time.
