About this spot
A representative sightseeing farm in Nakafurano, known for its "Rainbow Flower Field" with colorful flowers planted in bands across hillsides—purple, pink, white, and more. From July through August when flowers bloom, the lavender fields release a sweet fragrance and showcase the landscape that symbolizes Hokkaido's summer. The grounds are free to enter, and you can leisurely walk through the flower fields while taking photos and selecting souvenirs like lavender sweets and perfumes. From the hilltop, you can also view the Tokachi Mountain Range and enjoy the majestic Furano Basin scenery. A perfectly Hokkaido-style open and relaxing experience for a family summer vacation.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、中富良野町の北星山ラベンダー園を会場に行われる、なかふらのラベンダーまつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。約7,000発の花火が19時から1時間にわたって次々と打ち上がり、富良野盆地の広い夜空を彩ります。会場は山の中腹に位置しているため視界を遮るものが少なく、花火だけでなく盆地全体に広がる夜景も一緒に楽しめるのが大きな魅力です。ラベンダーの香りが残る夏の夜、家族で見上げる大輪の花火は北海道の夏の締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。
Tips
荒天時は日程が変更・中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は中富良野町の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場や周辺道路が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って移動を。夜は気温が下がるので羽織ものを忘れずに。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Hokkasei Mountain Lavender Park; also convenient to JR Nakafurano Station. The flower fields have little shade, so bring a hat and sunscreen. Early arrival is recommended as the parking lot gets busy during peak season.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 15 minutes. The midday sun is intense, so rest frequently and stay hydrated.
