In case of bad weather, only the fireworks display will be postponed to the following day, Sunday, August 2, so check Nakafurano-cho's official announcement on the day for whether it will go ahead. Admission on the festival day is required, with lavender garden entry tickets priced at 3,000 yen per person and temporary parking at 2,000 yen for a regular car. Parking areas and surrounding roads get crowded after the event ends, so allow plenty of time when leaving. Temperatures drop at night, so remember something to wear over your clothes.
