Approximately 2,500 fireworks launch into the night sky facing the Soya Strait from 8:30 to 9:15 PM (45 minutes). The sight of fireworks intertwining with the Northern Breakwater Dome's distinctive arc is unique to this venue. Japan's northernmost harbor town offers a summer night sky finale with a distinctly cool, northern air unlike any other region.
