2026年8月2日(日)開催、稚内市の北防波堤ドーム周辺を会場に行われる、稚内みなと南極まつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。約2,500発の花火が20時30分から21時15分までの45分間、宗谷海峡に面した夜空に次々と打ち上がります。独特の弧を描く北防波堤ドームの建造物と花火が重なる眺めは、この会場ならではの見どころです。日本最北の港町で見上げる夏の夜空は、他の地域とはひと味違う涼やかな空気の中でのフィナーレになります。

Tips

荒天時は2026年8月3日(月)に延期される予定なので、当日の開催可否は稚内市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駅や駐車場周辺が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って移動を。夜は冷え込むことがあるので上着があると安心です。

About 10 minutes by car from Wakkanai Park. As fireworks approach, the area becomes very crowded—arrive early to secure your spot. Temperatures drop at night—don't forget a jacket.
