About this spot

This roadside station (michi-no-eki) gathers produce and specialty goods from Toma Town, making it a perfect spot to start your day. In summer, the direct-sales corner bustles with freshly picked vegetables and fruits, and it's enjoyable just to browse the local selection. There is also a light-meal corner, so it's a good idea to have a light bite here ahead of the festival. With well-equipped rest areas, it's a convenient base for the day.

Tips

Easy to access from the center of town, with ample parking. Popular items at the summer direct-sales corner can sell out early, so check anything you're interested in sooner rather than later. You'll travel by car to the next stop, Toma Limestone Cave Park (当麻鍾乳洞公園).

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 15 minutes needed. The selection is richest from morning through early afternoon.
