With launches beginning at 7:20 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, this fireworks display takes place on the riverbed of the Rekifune River (歴舟川), once selected as Japan's cleanest river. Fireworks launch into the night sky, bringing Taiki Town's summer to a close together with the murmur of the river. With few tall buildings nearby, the fireworks fill the field of view — a charm unique to this venue. It makes for a special day: gold-panning by the same riverbank in the daytime, then looking up at fireworks there at night.
