About this spot

This is a Hashimoto City green space that makes use of the riverbed of the Kinokawa River (紀の川), with 22 auto-camping sites of 100 square meters each. Shared sinks, restrooms, and a management building are provided, and with a caretaker (a security guard at night) on site, families with children can relax here comfortably. A grounds golf course also spreads out next door. In the evening, the river's surface takes on the colors of the sunset, and you can enjoy a pleasant time in the cool river breeze. Spread out your takeout dinner while securing your viewing spot for the evening's fireworks.

Tips

On the evening of the fireworks display, both the riverbed and the surrounding roads get crowded. It's recommended to pick up your food and drink early. Don't forget insect protection from this time as well.

Best time to visit

About 2 hours needed. Around sunset, the riverside is the most pleasant time of the day.
