A historic park developed at the birthplace of Hatakeyama Shigeatsu, a samurai of the Kamakura period. Shigeatsu appears in historical records such as the 'Azuma Kagami' as a warrior renowned for his military prowess and strategem, and is still respected locally. The park features historic sites and monuments related to Shigeatsu, as well as lush green spaces, allowing for a leisurely historic walk. 荒川の広々とした河川敷を舞台に開催される、深谷市を代表する夏の花火大会です。2026年8月2日(日)19時から21時までの2時間、約4,000発の花火が夜空に次々と打ち上がります。遮るものが少ない河川敷ならではの開放的な視界で、大きく開く花火を存分に楽しめるのが魅力です。長い開催時間の中で趣向を凝らした演出が続くため、飽きることなく最後まで楽しめます。雄大な荒川の流れとともに、家族で深谷の夏をしめくくる特別な夜を過ごしましょう。
Tips
中の家から車で約20分。当日は周辺道路や駐車場が大変混雑するため、時間に余裕を持って早めに移動しましょう。荒天時は中止や順延の場合があるため、開催可否は深谷市の公式発表で確認してください。河川敷は足元が暗いので、小さなライトがあると安心です。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Michi-no-Eki Kawamoto. Some areas within the park are unpaved, so wear comfortable walking shoes. In summer, it's recommended to choose shaded areas and take breaks.
