An ancient burial mound site group that tells of people who have lived in the Ara River basin since ancient times. The landscape of green mounds scattered throughout the rural area creates a serene atmosphere unique to the countryside. A walking trail is maintained, allowing families to walk leisurely while pondering ancient history. It's close to Hatakeyama Shigeatsu Historic Park and is a perfect continuation of Fukaya's historic walk.
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from Hatakeyama Shigeatsu Historic Park. Following the signage makes navigation easy. In summer, there may be many insects, so bring insect repellent for peace of mind.
Best time to visit
Takes about 50 minutes. Later in the evening, the sunlight becomes softer and easier to walk in
