2026年8月1日(土)17時からお祭りが始まり、日が暮れると記念すべき第一回竹田花火大会の花火が打ち上がります。約600発の花火が山に囲まれた竹田市城下町交流プラザ一帯に響き渡り、音が山あいにこだまする迫力ある光景を楽しめます。岡城跡や城下町散策で歴史にふれたあとのフィナーレとして、家族で夜空を見上げる特別なひとときになるはずです。

荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の実施状況は竹田市の公式発表で確認しましょう。実際の花火は日が暮れてからの打ち上げとなるため、時間には余裕を持って会場に到着しておくと安心です。周辺は街灯が少ないため、懐中電灯があると足元が安心です。

Just a short walk from Yugakukan. With many stone-paved paths and slopes, comfortable shoes are recommended. During summer daylight, some streets have little shade, so take frequent breaks.
Best time to visit
