On August 1, 2026 (Saturday), the fireworks festival is held at Tatsunishi-Sho near Asahi Bridge alongside the area's traditional event "Suo Hashirasho" (pine torch fire festival). Combined with the Hashirasho fire festival tradition called "hashiraisho," the fireworks light up the night sky along the river. This event, which brings together the solemn atmosphere of a long-passed-down regional tradition and the brilliance of fireworks, is Hikari City's signature summer celebration.
