A historic wooden bridge spanning the deep gorge of the Katsuragawa River, counted as one of Japan's Three Wondrous Bridges. Known for its unusual structure that supports the bridge with wooden frames jutting out from both banks without using pilings, it creates a picturesque landscape combined with the verdant gorge. From the base of the bridge, you can look down on the Katsuragawa River flowing through the gorge, and even in summer, the river breeze feels refreshing. At the start of your day, enjoy time taking in the history and nature unique to Otsuki.

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は大月市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路や駅への道が混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。夜は山あいらしく涼しくなるので羽織ものを忘れずに。

Accessible by bus or on foot from Otsuki Station. The base of the bridge has stairs and slopes, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In summer, some areas have little shade, so bring sun protection.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 15 minutes needed. From morning through early afternoon, light filters into the gorge, and the wooden frame structure is clearly visible.
