About this spot

A park themed around Oribe ware (織部焼), the style of Mino ware (美濃焼) associated with the tea master Furuta Oribe (古田織部). Its lush garden is planted with flowers and greenery for every season, and its museum lets you learn about the history and characteristics of Oribe ware. Learning about Oribe ware, the pottery style that gives the festival its name, before enjoying the fireworks will make Toki City's summer festival feel even more meaningful. The grounds are just the right size for a leisurely walk, perfect for an evening stroll.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the roadside station Donburi Kaikan (道の駅どんぶり会館). Some areas of the grounds have little shade, so take breaks often in summer. It is reassuring to check the museum's opening hours in advance.

About 1 hour 15 minutes needed. As evening approaches, the sunlight softens and makes for easier strolling
