About this spot

A zoo located just next to Shibukawa Beach (渋川海水浴場), spreading across a hilltop overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. It has everything from familiar animals like lions and giraffes to a petting corner where you can interact with small animals, offering something for the whole family to enjoy. Walking through the shaded grounds after your swim makes for a pleasant break. The open, breezy atmosphere, thanks to its location surrounded by sea and greenery, is also part of its charm.

Tips

Within easy walking or driving distance of Shibukawa Beach. There are some slopes within the grounds, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In summer, the best times to view certain animals can be limited, so check the posted information.
