About this spot

A zoo spread across a scenic highland overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, located right next to Shibukawa Beach. It features a variety of animals from lions and giraffes to touch-friendly areas with small animals. It's perfect for the whole family. After swimming, a walk through the shaded zoo grounds provides a pleasant rest. The open atmosphere created by being surrounded by sea and greenery is also appealing.

2026年8月2日(日)開催、直島航路の玄関口である宇野港を舞台にした夏の風物詩です。瀬戸内海の穏やかな海面の上に約3,000発の花火が次々と打ち上がり、波の少ない港ならではの落ち着いた雰囲気の中でじっくり観覧できます。行き交うフェリーの灯りと花火が重なる、港町らしい夜景も見どころのひとつ。昼間に訪れた海や動物園、港のアートの余韻とともに、玉野の夏の1日を締めくくります。

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認を。終了後は宇野駅や周辺道路が大変混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰路がおすすめです。

Tips

Located just a short walk or drive from Shibukawa Beach. The grounds have slopes, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. In summer, animal viewing may be limited during certain hours, so check the information signs.
