A shopping street area in front of JR Uno Station (宇野駅), rooted in the daily life of the community. Lined with restaurants and souvenir shops, it is a convenient spot to fuel up and shop before the fireworks. As evening approaches, it gradually fills with fireworks-goers, giving it the lively feel of a summer festival unique to a port town. It is also close to Uno Port (宇野港), so once you finish dinner, you can head straight to the fireworks venue.

Tips

Within walking distance of Uno Port. Restaurants get crowded from evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, so an earlier visit is recommended. Convenience stores near the venue can also sell out early, so keep that in mind.
