A waterside area on the western side of Imazu town, facing Lake Biwa. In summer, it's bustling with people enjoying water activities and walks along the shore, with mountain ranges visible across the lake. Walking along the lakeside where fireworks will light up tonight will deepen your enjoyment of the evening's display. The breeze from the lake is refreshing and eases the summer heat.

2026年8月1日(土)19時開催、今津の夏を締めくくる花火大会です。琵琶湖のほとりに位置する会場から、夜空に花火が1時間にわたって打ち上がります。湖を渡る夜風とともに花火を見上げる時間は、琵琶湖畔の町ならではの心地よさ。地域みんなで作り上げる手づくりの夏祭りらしい、あたたかな雰囲気の中でのフィナーレです。
Tips
荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は周辺道路や駅周辺が混雑するため、フィナーレ後は少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめ。足元が暗い箇所もあるのでスマホのライトで安全に。

It's within walking distance from the Lake Biwa Circumnavigation Song Museum. The waterside can be slippery in places, so if you're with small children, hold their hands as you walk. Since there's little shade, bringing sun protection is recommended.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Afternoon, when the sunlight softens, is a pleasant time to walk along the lake shore.
