Nearby, a cedar-lined avenue retains remnants of the old Tokaido route; walking beneath these towering trees feels like stepping back in time. A distinctive Hakone walking spot where lake, mountains, and history merge.
Tips
Approximately 15 minutes on foot from Moto-Hakone Port. During summer, the cedar-shaded avenue is cool and easy to walk. It's recommended to leisurely explore the checkpoint exhibits.
