A lake created using the flow of the Agatsuma River, spreading across the mountains in Tsumagoi Village. The calm lake surface, surrounded by mountains, beautifully reflects the sky and mountain scenery on windless days. A scenic trail around the lakeside allows families to relax in the clear air of the high-altitude plateau. The high elevation means pleasantly cool temperatures even in summer.

吾妻川の河川敷を会場に開催される、嬬恋村最大の夏祭りのフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。2026年8月1日(土)19時から20時まで、標高の高い高原の澄んだ夜空に約1,800発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。周囲を山々に囲まれた会場ならではの、音がよく響く迫力の観覧体験ができるのが魅力です。避暑地らしい涼しい夜風の中で見上げる花火は、平地の花火大会とはひと味違う爽やかさに包まれています。
Tips
嬬恋村役場周辺から車で約10分。会場周辺の駐車場は限られているため、早めの到着がおすすめです。標高が高く夜は冷え込むことがあるので、羽織ものを忘れずに。荒天時は中止や延期の場合があるため、開催可否は嬬恋村の公式発表で確認してください。

About 10 minutes' drive from Kamahra Kannon Hall. The lakeside has some areas with little shade, so in summer bring a hat and remember to hydrate. The appearance of the mountains changes depending on the time of day, so be sure to take photos on a clear day.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. The calm afternoon hours offer especially beautiful views of the lake surface.
