A sports park in Aoki Village (青木村) with views of the roughly 1,200-meter peaks of Mt. Otogami (夫神岳) to the south and Mt. Kodanrei (子檀嶺岳) to the north. It centers around a 16,431-square-meter athletics ground, and also has three tennis courts, a 400-square-meter playground, and night lighting. At these grounds, which serve as the venue for the Shinshu Aoki Village Summer Festival & Grand Fireworks Display (信州青木村夏まつり・大花火大会), fuel up with a light meal while waiting for the 4:30 PM start.
Tips
About a 10-minute drive from Tazawa Onsen (田沢温泉). On the day of the festival, the parking lot gets crowded, so arriving early is recommended.
