Located in the center of Shimada City, this shrine is also known as the stage for the Shimada Taisai (Obi Matsuri), held once every three years. Long worshipped as a deity of safe childbirth, it has been cherished by the local community. Tips

About 15 minutes on foot from JR Shimada Station. The shrine grounds have plenty of shade, making it relatively cool to visit even in summer.
