The climax of the Aki Ryokoza Citizen Festival, held centered around the Health Exchange Center Genkikan on August 2, 2026 (Sunday). After various regional events including dancing performances and mochi tossing, approximately 3,000 fireworks are launched into the night sky from the coast in front of the former Aki Middle and High School. As the finale of the 71st summer festival long cherished by locals, it draws many families.
