About this spot

A park known as the land associated with Xu Fu (徐福), a legendary figure from Chinese mythology who came in search of an elixir of immortality at the command of China's First Emperor, spreading at the foot of Mount Kanzaka. The verdant grounds are equipped with walking paths and shelters where families can stroll at leisure. From the observation spots, you can also see the East China Sea, allowing you to enjoy views of both mountains and sea. The summer shade on the trees is cool and perfect for clearing your mind after learning about history.

2026年8月1日(土)開催、いちき串木野市の市来ふれあい温泉センター西側河川敷を会場に行われる、いちき串木野サマーフェスタ2026のフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が20時15分から夜空に次々と打ち上がり、いちき串木野の夏を締めくくります。河川敷の開けた立地のため視界を遮るものが少なく、家族でゆったりと花火を見上げられるのが魅力です。まつり会場のにぎやかな雰囲気とともに、夏休みらしい夜のひとときを楽しめます。

荒天時は日程が変更・中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否はいちき串木野市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場や周辺道路が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って移動を。

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from the Satsuma Domain English Study Abroad Memorial Hall. There are mountain trails, so wear comfortable shoes. In summer, insect repellent spray is a good idea.
