Walk leisurely through streets retaining samurai residence character and enjoy history exploration
About this spot
An area retaining the "fumoto" (samurai neighborhood) townscape formed under the Satsuma clan's external castle administration system. Walking through calm streets lined with stone walls and hedgerows, you can sense the region's history continuing from the Edo period. After viewing Gamo Hachimangu Shrine's Great Camphor Tree, this is a perfect time for leisurely townscape walks. Let the family contemplate the lifestyle of those times while walking.

Date & time: 8/1 (Sat) Time TBA
Venue:
Tips
