This facility serves as a hub for Kamou tourist information, providing visitor guidance while also selling processed agricultural products and traditional crafts from Aira City. Located right near Kamou Hachiman Shrine, home to the great camphor tree known as Japan's largest giant tree, and the historic samurai residence district, it makes a convenient starting point or turnaround spot for your walk through town. With restaurants and shops scattered around the area, this is a good place to rest and recover from a day of historical sightseeing, and to build up your energy before staking out a spot for the evening festival.

Tips

Reachable on foot or by car from the Kamou-fumoto samurai residence district. On the day of the festival, the area gets crowded from evening onward, so it's a good idea to take your time here beforehand. You'll drive to the next venue.
