About this spot
On the evening of the fireworks festival, shops and restaurants around the venue become crowded. If you have an early dinner at a local restaurant, you can welcome the evening's viewing in a more relaxed manner. After eating, return to Eguchihama Seaside Park and spread a leisure sheet to secure a good viewing spot. The time spent watching the sunset sink into the East China Sea is a highlight unique to this area.

2026年8月1日(土)20時から、東シナ海に面した江口浜海浜公園で開かれる花火大会です。打ち上げ数は公表されていませんが、遮るもののない水平線を背景に打ち上がる花火は、開放感あふれる大迫力の景色です。夕日の名所としても知られるこの浜辺で、昼間の美しい夕景の余韻を感じながら夜空に咲く花火を見上げる、日置市の夏を締めくくるひとときです。
Tips
荒天時は中止や日程変更の可能性があるため、当日は主催者の公式発表を確認しましょう。海沿いは砂浜が広いため、レジャーシートは風で飛ばされないようしっかり固定しましょう。終了後は駐車場からの出庫が混み合うため、時間に余裕を持って移動しましょう。
Tips
Arrive early if you want to secure a good spot. It can get chilly by the seaside at night, so don't forget a cardigan. After sunset, it gets dark, so a small light is helpful.
Best time to visit
Allow about 4 hours. Be sure to enjoy the changing colors of the sea as it transitions from sunset to night.
