About this spot

A street lined with locally rooted shops in the heart of Miyanojo. Long-established deli shops, Japanese confectionery stores, and general stores line the street. While it lacks the flashiness of a typical tourist spot, its calm atmosphere lets you feel the everyday life of Satsuma-cho. On the day of the summer festival, foot traffic increases and the whole town gradually livens up ahead of the festivities.
