郡山夏まつりのクライマックス、郡山総合運動場で行われる花火大会です。2026年8月1日(土)、山々に囲まれた郡山地域の夜空に花火が次々と打ち上がります。灯籠コンテストや露店でにぎわった祭りの締めくくりとして、地元の家族連れが集まる、アットホームな雰囲気が魅力です。第50回という節目を迎える、地元で長く親しまれてきた夏祭りの締めくくりです。

荒天時は中止や順延になる場合があるため、当日は鹿児島市や商工会の発表で開催可否を確認しましょう。山あいの夜は涼しくなるため、羽織ものを忘れずに。終了後は帰りの道が混み合うため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。
