郡山夏まつりのクライマックス、郡山総合運動場で行われる花火大会です。2026年8月1日(土)、山々に囲まれた郡山地域の夜空に花火が次々と打ち上がります。灯籠コンテストや露店でにぎわった祭りの締めくくりとして、地元の家族連れが集まる、アットホームな雰囲気が魅力です。第50回という節目を迎える、地元で長く親しまれてきた夏祭りの締めくくりです。

荒天時は中止や順延になる場合があるため、当日は鹿児島市や商工会の発表で開催可否を確認しましょう。山あいの夜は涼しくなるため、羽織ものを忘れずに。終了後は帰りの道が混み合うため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。
Tips
About 10 minutes by car from the Kotsuki River source area. Bringing your own towel is recommended. Roads around the facility begin to get congested in the late afternoon toward the fireworks event, so allow extra time.
Best time to visit
Takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. Perfect timing to rinse off after your hike.
