A shrine long cherished by the local community, said to be the origin of the name Yunokawa Onsen. The grounds have a quiet, calm atmosphere and are just the right size to stop by during a stroll through the onsen district. A chance to catch your breath in the quiet grounds during the afternoon, ahead of the evening fireworks.
Tips
Within walking distance of the Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden. Visiting the shrine grounds is free. It's recommended to combine it with a stroll through the onsen district.
