About this spot
A local shopping street that spreads out immediately upon exiting Kasugabe Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. Traditional restaurants, bakeries, and Japanese confectionery shops line the street, making it perfect for a light meal before the fireworks festival. Kasugabe is also known for local industries such as straw hats and paulownia wood tansu chests, and simply walking through the shopping street lets you feel the atmosphere of the area. Before heading to the Ōdako Museum, have a light meal to prepare yourself.

2026年8月22日(土)20時10分から21時まで、庄和総合公園を会場に開催される春日部大凧花火大会のクライマックスです。昼間は大凧あげでも知られる庄和の広い空に、夜は色とりどりの花火が次々と打ち上がります。公園の広い敷地からは花火をさえぎるものが少なく、家族みんなでゆったり観覧できるのが魅力です。夏の夜空を彩る花火を、大凧の町ならではの開放感の中で楽しみましょう。
Tips
荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、春日部市の公式発表を当日確認しましょう。終了後は駅や道路が大変混み合うため、少し時間を置いてから帰路につくのがおすすめです。小さな子どもとははぐれないよう手をつないで移動しましょう。

Right from Kasugabe Station's West Exit. Since there are few shops around the Ōdako Museum, it's wise to stock up on drinks and light snacks here. There's also a coin locker at the station, so you can lighten your luggage before departure.
