A spacious comprehensive park in the Showa district that serves as the venue for the Kasugabe Ōdako Fireworks Festival. With lawn areas, play equipment, and sports facilities, it's a perfect spot for families to move around freely during the day. The area is rich with greenery, making it easy to find shade for a rest even during hot summer hours. Since the park becomes the fireworks venue in the evening, understanding the park's layout and atmosphere during the day will make securing a good spot at night much smoother.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Ōdako Museum. Since the park is spacious, it's helpful to identify which areas you want to visit beforehand. Don't forget to stay hydrated, and make use of shaded rest areas during hot times. Water fountains are available throughout the park.

Best time to visit

Takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Late afternoon is more comfortable as the sun's rays become gentler.
