About this spot

This park spreads over a hilltop overlooking Akechi-cho and is also known as a cherry-blossom viewing spot. From its spacious lawn plaza you can leisurely take in the townscape of Taisho Mura and the surrounding mountains, with plenty of room for children to run around. There's also plenty of shade in summer, making it a valued rest spot between strolls. Tonight's fireworks will be launched from this Senjojiki Park, so take a break here during the day, getting a feel for the venue ahead of the evening.

Tips

About a 15-minute walk from Akechi Station, and also easily accessible by car. Restrooms and parking are well maintained, so it's reassuring for families too.
