About this spot

A wooden playhouse built in the early Showa period, known for having been used as a film location. You can view up close the traditional theatrical mechanisms such as the revolving stage and hanamichi (flower path), allowing you to experience the entertainment culture of that time. By visiting together with the Udatsu townscape stroll, you can enjoy Wakicho's history more deeply. The interior has the calm atmosphere unique to wooden structures and serves as a pleasant cool rest stop.

荒天時の開催可否は美馬市や主催者の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が混み合うため、少し余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめです。河川敷は足元が暗いので、スマホのライトなどを準備しておくと安心です。

About 5 minutes on foot from the Udatsu townscape. You may be able to tour behind the stage, so check with staff. The Mima City Udatsu Museum is just a short walk away.
