Held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, this fireworks festival colors the start of autumn in Chofu City (調布市). About 10,000 shells launched from around the Tama River (Tamagawa, Chofu City) (多摩川周辺(調布市多摩川)) make it one of the largest displays in the Kanto region, with large blooms spreading one after another across the night sky. In this open venue, unique to the wide Tama River (多摩川), the sight of fireworks set against a sky with few obstructions is spectacular. The moment the finale's rapid bursts light up the riverbed makes for a climax fitting the end of the day.
