A museum introducing the history and culture of Tamana City, with clear displays of artifacts excavated from burial mounds and ruins in the Kikuchi River basin, as well as the history of Tamana Onsen. The interior is air-conditioned and just the right size for a break between temple and shrine visits. Learning how the land of Tamana developed should make the townscape of the Takase area you visit next feel even more meaningful.
