2026年10月3日(土)開催、玉名の秋を彩る恒例の花火大会です。高瀬大橋上流付近(菊池川)から打ち上がる約10,000発の花火は、川幅の広い菊池川ならではの開放的な会場で、夜空いっぱいに大輪の花火が次々と広がります。川面に映り込む花火の光と、秋の澄んだ夜空とのコントラストは、この大会ならではの見ごたえです。フィナーレの連発が河川敷を明るく照らす瞬間は、1日の締めくくりにふさわしいクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷で少し余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。10月の夜は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを。

Tips

About 20 minutes by car from Tamanji city center. Admission to the temple is generally free, though some facilities may require an admission fee. The grounds have many slopes, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Travel to the next location, Tamanji Municipal History Museum Kokoro Pia, by car.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The cool morning to early afternoon hours are best for visiting.
