Leisurely Flower Walk Among 5,000 Hydrangeas Blooming Along the Embankments
About this spot
A renowned flower destination where approximately 5,000 hydrangea plants line the embankments of rice fields covering about 17 hectares in Kaisei Town's rural area. The best viewing season is typically June, and the contrast between the lush green paddies and the colorful flowers is a seasonal reward found only at this time of year. The flat pathways are easy to walk even for families with small children.
Tips
The embankment paths are flat and stroller-friendly. During the hydrangea festival period, parking is in temporary lots and requires a walk, so arriving early in the morning is more comfortable. Check the location of restrooms on the venue map in advance.
Best time to visit
Allow 1.5 hours; mornings right after opening are less crowded
