A park developed on a hill overlooking Uraga Port, cherished by locals as a place to relax. From the viewpoint, you can take in the full panorama of the port town of Uraga, including the shipyard, passing vessels, and the townscape on the opposite shore. Viewing the harbor from the hilltop while it's still light, before tonight's fireworks, will make the evening's viewing all the more meaningful. The park's lush greenery also makes it a great spot to rest between stops on your walk.
Tips
About a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Kanou Shrine; there are slopes, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Benches are scattered throughout, so you can enjoy the view while taking breaks along the way. It's about a 15-minute walk to the next stop, the shopping street.
