A coastline near the Nakoso Barrier Ruins in southern Iwaki City. With a wide, gently sloping sandy beach, it's perfect for walking along the shoreline, searching for shells, and spending relaxing time with children. 2026年8月29日(土)19時から開催される、いわき市南部の夏を彩る花火大会です。鮫川の河川敷から約2,000発の花火が次々と打ち上がり、静かな川面に光が映り込む様子も見どころのひとつです。出店のにぎわいの中、レジャーシートに座って見上げる花火は、夏の締めくくりにふさわしい光景です。開けた河川敷なので、家族連れでもゆったりと観覧できます。
Tips
荒天時は中止・順延となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は主催者の発表で確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、少し余韻を楽しんでからの帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いので、スマホのライトがあると安心です。

About 5 minutes by car from Nakoso Barrier Ruins. During summer, the sun is strong, so don't forget sunscreen and hydration. If swimming, check the designated swimming area and presence of lifeguards.
