A beach in southern Iwaki City, close to the ruins of Nakoso Barrier. It has a wide, gently sloping sandy shore, making it perfect for a relaxed time with your children, walking along the water's edge or searching for shells. Spending time gazing at the sea in the summer sunlight builds anticipation for the fireworks display to come.
Tips
About a 5-minute drive from the ruins of Nakoso Barrier. Sunlight is strong in summer, so don't forget sun protection and to stay hydrated. If you plan to swim, check the designated swimming area and whether lifeguards are present.
