Take a Leisurely Stroll Along the Lakeshore with the Lake Breeze
About this spot
A promenade that stretches along the shores of Lake Suwa (諏訪湖), Nagano Prefecture's largest lake. From the Okaya side, you can see the towns of Suwa City and Shimosuwa Town across the lake, and beyond them the mountain ranges of Yatsugatake and Kirigamine. Even in summer, the breeze from the lake is refreshing, making it perfect for a leisurely family walk. Okaya Lakeside Park, where tonight's fireworks will be displayed, is also a continuation of this stroll.

2026年8月16日(日)開催、諏訪湖畔の岡谷湖畔公園多目的広場を舞台にした花火大会です。約2,000発の花火が夜空に打ち上がり、静かな諏訪湖の湖面には花火が映り込む「逆さ花火」を楽しむことができます。周囲を山々に囲まれた盆地ならではの音の反響も迫力を増す要素のひとつ。1日たっぷり岡谷を満喫した締めくくりにふさわしい、湖上のフィナーレです。
Tips
荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は岡谷市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は岡谷駅周辺が大変混雑するため、少し時間差をつけて移動するのがおすすめです。夜の湖畔は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。
